WHO WE ARE GET INVOLVED CANDIDATE SURVEYS ON THE ISSUES ABOUT AUDIT THE FED

"Cap and Tax" is back!

Shhh… listen closely. You hear that whooshing sound?

No, that’s not the wind…

That’s the sound of American energy jobs disappearing forever down the drain of political correctness and expediency.

The EPA will unveil new rules today that will require power plants to cut carbon emissions by 30 percent by 2030 as a centerpiece of the administration’s new “Climate Action Plan.”

More like, “Continue Negative Economic Growth to Infinity and Beyond” plan…

Wall Street Journal reports the EPA estimates its plan will cost between $7.3 and $8.8 billion per year. The rule is expected to be completed by June 2015 and implemented by 2016.

The Chamber of Commerce on the other hand said the rule will cost the economy $50 billion and 224,000 jobs each year.

Make no mistake, this law is aimed straight at the heart of America’s coal companies, a long-time target of radical left-wing environmentalist groups.

This is simply an attempt by President Obama to force "Cap and Tax" (circa 2009-2010) on the American people through his regulatory authority, after failing to pass it through a Democrat-controlled Congress.

UPDATE: Senator Paul issued a statement saying he will force a vote to repeal the new EPA rule:

"This latest assault on our economy by President Obama will destroy jobs here in Kentucky and across the country, and will hurt middle class families by hiking their utility bills and straining their budgets,” said Sen. Paul.

“The excessive rule is an illegal use of executive power, and I will force a vote to repeal it."
