Why does the Department of Agriculture need submachine guns with 30 round magazines?

According to a report from Breitbart, the Department of Agriculture is seeking, " guns to have an 'ambidextrous safety, semiautomatic or 2 round trigger group, Tritium night sights front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore group) and scope (top rear), stock collapsible or folding,' and a '30 rd. capacity' magazine."

Keep in mind this is the same federal department whose mission statement is to "provide leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, nutrition, and related issues based on sound public policy, the best available science, and efficient management."

The Department of Agriculture isn't the first federal agency not charged with fighting crime to be armed and certainly won't be the last. According to Watchdogthe following federal agencies have active law enforcement operations:

Also keep in mind that what the Department of Agriculture wants are are the same guns, features, and magazines that California Democrat Diane Feinstein tried to ban last year in order to save the children/America.

Guess its "big and scary" guns for me but not for thee.
