Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared on The Daily show on Monday night to talk about his new book, Suicide Pact: The Radical Expansion of Presidential Powers and the Lethal Threat to American Liberty.
At one point in the conversation, Stewart asked Napolitano, “but if we are the best in this system, so that would be like saying, if I may, let’s get rid of capitalism, even though it’s the best economic system.”
“You don’t believe that for a minute,” Napolitano answered. “That we should get rid of capitalism? You’re the richest guy in television!”
“We could be doing better. We need to know that our rights come from our humanity not the government,” he added.
