Dear South Carolina Citizen,
During the election season, you will often hear politicians from across the State of South Carolina proclaim:
"The 2nd Amendment is my license to carry!"
But when they get to the state capital, their campaign rhetoric goes right out the window.
Taxes, fees, privacy-killing databases, and being finger-printed like a common criminal are what you can expect from these folks when it comes time to actually write South Carolina law.
Law-abiding citizens like you should not have to ask for government permission to exercise your Right to Self Defense.
Please take a moment to help us win the fight for Constitutional Carry by signing our petition below!
In Liberty,
Talbert Black, Jr.
State Coordinator
Enact Constitutional Carry Petition to My State Representative, State Senator, and the Governor
WHEREAS: The Right of the People to defend themselves from unprovoked violence is a Natural and Inalienable Right; and WHEREAS: This Inalienable Right is protected by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as Article I, Section 20 of the Constitution of the State of South Carolina; and WHEREAS: The State of South Carolina enjoys no Power not justly given to it by the People through the Constitution. THEREFORE: I demand that the South Carolina General Assembly and the Governor immediately enact Constitutional Carry in South Carolina. I further demand they: - Repeal and forbid all mandatory weapons licensing schemes; and - Preserve weapons carry reciprocity with other states. |
