State Legislators will soon have the opportunity to end Arkansas’ failed ObamaCare experiment – if we take action NOW.
Last year, they forced ObamaCare down the throats of Arkansas citizens... AGAIN.
But we CAN get rid of ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion in 2016.
Even though many of Arkansas’ Republican legislators and Governor Asa Hutchinson claimed to oppose ObamaCare during election season, they’re using buzzwords like “shrinking” and "scaling back" in reference ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion.
Arkansas citizens don’t need ObamaCare to shrink – we need it to END!
And the plan they're considering this year dubbed "Arkansas Works" will actually cost taxpayers MORE than the existing expansion. It will shift tens-of-thousands of low income workers that already have health insurance onto Medicaid!
Please sign the petition below and demand that Arkansas legislators and Governor Hutchinson END ObamaCare expansion.
-------------------------------------------
Whereas: The Tenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States reads as follows: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people"; and
Whereas: The Tenth Amendment assures that we, the people of the United States of America and each sovereign state in the Union of States, now have and have always had rights the federal government may not usurp; and
Whereas: Arkansas legislators and Governor Asa Hutchinson are now talking about replacing the failed ObamaCare "private option" instead of ending the optional program, contradicting promises that were made; and
Whereas: Arkansas taxpayers cannot afford the burden of any ObamaCare expansion scheme.
Therefore, be it resolved that we, the citizens of the great state of Arkansas demand that our State Representatives and State Senators vote NO on any proposal that continues ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion in Arkansas; and
Be it further resolved that we demand Governor Hutchinson actively oppose and veto any legislation that continues ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion in Arkansas.
