Whereas, The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights, and Section 25 of the Wisconsin Constitution, enumerate and protect the right of the people to bear arms without infringement; and
Whereas, The courts have ruled that the police have no legal responsibility to protect an individual, and that individuals are responsible for protecting themselves against grave bodily harm or threat of death; and
Whereas, It has been proven that crime rates drop in counties where concealed carry is not prohibited or restricted;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, We, the undersigned citizens of the great State of Wisconsin demand that laws prohibiting constitutional concealed carry be eliminated in Wisconsin.
Be it further resolved, We, the undersigned citizens of the great state of Wisconsin demand that in addition to a concealed carry permitting system, which allows those who want to comply with concealed carry reciprocity agreements already in place, law-abiding citizins in Wisconsin be allowed to carry concealed without needing government permission or permits to do so.
Be it further resolved, We, the undersigned citizens of the great State of Wisconsin demand the repeal of all training requirements to concealed carry.
Be it further resolved, We, the undersigned citizens of the great state of Wisconsin demand the deletion of any kind of government database used to track law-abiding citizens that are carrying concealed weapons.
