Dear Whitfield County Citizen,

Our county commissioners are scheming to create a NEW TAX on businesses!

The proposed business tax is planned to start at $200 a year for each business, and we all know politicians have a tendency to raise taxes over time.

As most new businesses usually lose money for their first three years, this new tax can only have a detrimental effect on creating new businesses and future job growth in our county.

Please help stop this tax!

Petition to STOP the Business Tax Hike to my Whitfield County Commissioners: WHEREAS: The Taxpayers of Whitfield County are already taxed enough; and WHEREAS: A business license tax will hinder the creation of new businesses and future jobs; and WHEREAS: The people of this County are in desperate need of new businesses and new jobs. THEREFORE: I demand that you vote AGAINST the Business License and Occupational Tax.
