On Wednesday, the Senate will vote on two balanced budget amendment's to the Constitution. One, is S.J.Res. 10, a solid BBA that all 47 Republicans are supporting, and S.J.Res. 24, a compromise proposal which never actually requires a balanced budget.

Senator Lee gave a powerful speech as well, explaining why both Democrats and Republicans should support S.J.Res. 10.

S.J.Res. 10, the strong BBA failed by a vote of 47-53.
S.J.Res. 24, the "trojan horse" BBA failed by a vote of 21-79.
