In a lucid opinion piece by GWU Law Professor Jeffrey Rosen in Politico, we are reminded that President Obama has utterly failed to live up to his campaign billing on civil liberties, in pretty much every capacity.
Obama’s endorsement of Bush-era policies that he had once denounced may be understandable in political terms. Yet it’s disappointing that the former constitutional law professor failed to fulfill his promises to defend civil liberties.
