___________________________Get your mind blown by the new Salon in town, Empire Unplugged. Be a part of a live show that debates the most controversial topics of our times.
First Topic: Federal Reserve
Discussion: Is the Federal Reserve a legitimate or illegitimate institution? What is the case for it and against it?
Two economists go head to head:
In one corner: Dean Baker, progressive economist and author, consultant to the World Bank and co-founder of Center for Economic and Policy Research.
And on the other side of the ring: Jeffrey Tucker, an Austrian economics advocate, executive editor of Laissez Faire Books and former editorial vice president of The Mises Institute.
They will each get 10 minutes to make their case, then the floor is yours to debate the meat of the matter.
Empire Unplugged opens and closes with our theme music and after the show a local DJ takes over.
