SPRINGFIELD, Virginia- Today, Campaign for Liberty released the following statement from John Tate in response to President Obama’s Executive Order on so-called “cybersecurity”:
“Yesterday, President Obama unilaterally increased the federal government’s power over the Internet and threatened the online privacy of every American citizen with the stroke of a pen. This is nothing more than yet another unprecedented power grab by a President whose sole agenda is to increase the size and scope of government and continue the destruction of our civil liberties. Campaign for Liberty will work tirelessly to overturn this executive order and defeat any future proposals that seek to restrict Internet freedom or infringe on each American’s Fourth Amendment right to privacy in any way.”
