There has been a lot of excitement over the recent Rand Paul Health Freedom Amendment attempt to rein in the FDA. The various food movements noticed it. Do not think that the fact the amendment got tabled means that people are going to let this drop. We need all the various health freedom groups around the nation to join in a grass roots movement behind this idea. Because while the health freedom groups do not agree on everything, I think the idea of reining in the FDA is one that resonates with almost everybody concerned about food freedom.
Somehow we need to start a grass roots movement asking for legislation to rein in the excessive powers of the FDA as Rand Paul has outlined. Similar to how so many of us have fallen in behind Ron Paul's bill to scrutinize the federal reserve (and have gotten so many congressmen to consponsor that bill), we need Rand Paul to introduce a similar bill that we can get the congress to cosponsor concerning reining in the FDA. How about it? What can we do to get Rand Paul to introduce such a bill? Let's start this thing from the grass roots and raise awareness somehow.
