Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul issued the following statement regarding President Biden’s proposed budget:
“By following up the bipartisan spending orgy of “coronavirus relief” and economic stimulus spending with a $6 trillion budget -- funded by increased taxes, debt, and deficits -- President Biden has done the equivalent of hitting the accelerator when you are about to go over a cliff.
“Adoption of Biden’s spending plans will increase pressure on the Fed to extend its policies of easy money and low interest rates. This will eventually result in a collapse in the dollar’s value, a rejection of the dollar’s world reserve currency status, and a major economic crisis.
“Campaign for Liberty will work with liberty activists around the country to force Congress to reject this, and all big spending plans, and instead make real cuts, right now.”
