Campaign for Liberty gave candidates for State House and Senate an opportunity to provide straight answers to the following questions. The answers from the candidates who won their elections can be seen below the list of questions.

QUESTIONS

1. Do you oppose the use of state funds, including state employees, for lobbying legislators to increase the size, funding, or power of government?
2. Will you support a “Constitutional Carry” bill that would allow any law-abiding citizen to carry a firearm concealed without a permit?
3. Would you support legislation that would require the courts to inform juries of the principle of Jury Nullification?
4. Will you support legislation modeled after Utah’s new law, authorizing the state to use eminent domain to regain control of lands taken by the federal government within its own borders?
5. Will you support legislation that would protect citizens’ right to film public officials performing their official duties, as long as they do not interfere with official business?
6. Will you support legislation to end the use of “no knock” warrants?
7. Do you support the end of public sector monopoly bargaining?
