Within the hour, a vote will be held on Senate Amendment 1064 to repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) against Iraq. This is an important step to officially bring the Iraq War to an end, so neither the current President, nor any future executive can claim any authority from this AUMF for any future hostilities.
