The Massie-Lofgren-Davidson-Jayapal amendment to the Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations bill (H.R. 4505) will likely be voted on today!
This amendment prohibits the use of taxpayer dollars to conduct surveillance activities under Section 702 of the FISA Act.
Section 702 has been called “the crown jewel of the surveillance state,” so stopping federal agents from using tax dollars to carry out warrantless wiretapping and other surveillance activities supposedly authorized by Section 702 would be a major step forward in defunding the entire snoop state.
So please call your U.S. Representative at 202-224-3121 and tell them to vote for the Massie-Lofgren-Davidson-Jayapal amendment to H.R. 4505.
