Did you know that lawmakers are working with billionaire-playboy ex-New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s group, Mayors Against Guns, in St. Paul to push as much of President Barack Obama’s anti-gun agenda as possible?
Worse, they’ve even got cover to support anti-gun schemes written into the platforms of the major political parties.
I need you to take action today.
If you support the Second Amendment, I hope you’ll join me in attending the local Precinct Caucus of the party of your choice and propose this resolution to fix your party’s platform. The caucus is coming up this Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 at 7:00 PM.
You can find your caucus location at http://caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us.
At your caucus, present this resolution and run to be a delegate to your party's County or Legislative District Convention. As a delegate to your Convention, you have a voice to make this resolution part of your party's platform.

Constitutional Carry Resolution |
Whereas, the right of the people to keep and bear arms is protected by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and;
Whereas, this inalienable right clearly includes the right to carry a handgun for self-defense, and:
Whereas, requiring law-abiding citizens to ask government permission through the permit system before they can exercise their constitutional right to arms is a clear violation of that right, and;
Whereas, real-life experience and extensive research both clearly demonstrate that restricting the right to bear arms in self-defense only encourages violent crime;
Therefore, be it resolved that the Party Platform be amended to specifically support “Constitutional Carry,” by removing any existing anti-gun language and replacing it with the following language:
We fully support the Second Amendment to the Constitution and believe that ‘shall not be infringed’ means what it says. All law-abiding citizens should have the right to purchase, possess, and carry firearms, free from any federal, state or local gun registration system, and without having to first obtain a government-issued permit or permission-slip. Therefore we urge all state lawmakers to co-sponsor, support, vote for, pass and sign a “Constitutional Carry” bill into law.
We also support legislation to protect an individual’s right to self-defense, including if necessary, the use of deadly force in their homes, businesses, or in a place they have a legal right to be without having a duty-to-flee from an attacker. We support legislation prohibiting gun-confiscation during a state-of-emergency; and prohibiting enforcement of all future anti-gun federal laws, executive orders, regulations and mandates.
